Deutsch: Dr. Melvin Calvin, Nobelpreisträger, Physik-Professor und Direktor des Chemical Biodynamics Laboratory am Lawrence Berkeley Laboratory, hier in seinem Photosynthese-Labor. Dr. Calvin erhielt 1961 den Chemie-Nobelpreis für die Aufklärung der chemischen Vorgänge bei der Photosynthese.
English: Dr. Melvin Calvin, Nobel Laureate, professor of physics, and Director of the Chemical Biodynamics Laboratory at Lawrence Berkeley Laboratory, works in his photosynthesis laboratory. Dr. Calvin was awarded the Nobel Prize in 1961 for elucidating the chemistry of the photosynthetic process.
