Tino Piontek（1980年2月12日—），艺名Purple Disco Machine，是一位德国 新迪斯科和浩室音乐的唱片制作人及DJ。[1][2][3]
早期个人生活和职业生涯
[编辑]Tino Piontek was born in 德累斯顿 on 12 February 1980, and grew up in East Germany until 1989 when the 柏林墙倒塌 and both parts of Germany subsequently reunited.
In 1996, he started producing with the program Cubase and some synthesizers; at the same time he discovered house music on the Dresden nightlife scene.[4] He became active as a DJ himself and in 2012 his first productions appeared. From then on, international DJ performances began and in 2017 his debut album was released on the label 索尼音樂娛樂.[5]
He celebrated his greatest success so far in August 2020 with the song "Hypnotized", which he recorded for the vocals together with Sophie and the Giants, which peaked at number two on the 意大利音乐产业联盟, receiving double platinum certification.[6] In the same year, he produced official remixes of 杜娃·黎波's "Don't Start Now", 凯莉·米洛's "Magic" and Lady Gaga's "Rain on Me".[7] He has his own SiriusXM show on Studio 54 on Fridays called "Purple Disco Tales".[8]
In 2023, he won a 葛萊美獎 under the category of Best Remixed Recording, Non-Classical for his remix of 丽珠's "About Damn Time".[9]
Personal life
[编辑]Piontek lives in Dresden with his wife and two children. He is a supporter of 拜仁慕尼黑足球俱乐部.[10] His father was a record collector and introduced him to the 放克 of the 1970s and 1980s.[11]
