KATSEYE（韩语：캣츠아이）是由韩国娱乐公司HYBE与美国唱片公司Geffen合资成立的公司HYBE UMG透过选秀节目企划《Dream Academy》推出的六人国际女子组合，由三位美国成员Daniela、Lara、Megan，一位瑞士成员Manon，一位菲律宾成员Sophia和一位韩国成员Yoonchae组成。组合于2023年11月18日成立，于2024年6月28日发行单曲《Debut》出道。[1]2024年1月31日在官方X上举行粉丝名投票，2024年4月11日公布官方粉丝名“EYEKONS”[2]。

“KATSEYE”是于K-POP艺人训练系统下成立的全球女子组合，组合名称就像一种宝石，猫眼（cat's eye），根据观察的方向，它会散发出各种颜色，就像组合成员一样，每个人都散发出自己独特的美学和才能[3]，这个多元化的组合成员来自三大洲的六个不同城市，于KATSEYE中团结为一体，共同发出强大的光芒[4][5]。

2021年11月，HYBE和Geffen Records开放了一个由来自世界各地的参赛者组成的女子组合的申请，作为HYBE x Geffen Records合资企业的一部分，此次合作将于2022年在韩国、美国、日本和英国举行试镜。旨在创建一个超越国家、文化和艺术界限的组合，HYBE创办人房时爀在接受韩国《中央日报》采访时表示，他打算将新成立的组合推向美国市场[7][8]。

从超过12万名申请者中，选出了20名选手参加选秀节目企划《Dream Academy》，节目透过一系列任务确定了女团的六人阵容。在首播之前，参赛者透过KPOP偶像练习生系统中的方法在加州洛杉矶接受了一年的训练。比赛于2023年8月19日首播，然后于11月18日结束[9][10]。

Katseye的六位成员在出道前都有专业舞蹈、电视和娱乐产业的经验，Sophia是菲律宾音乐剧女演员Carla Guevara Laforteza所生，她从三岁开始唱歌，后来于2022年作为参赛者参加了游戏节目《Family Feud Philippines》[11][12]。

出生于亚特兰大的Daniela拉从三岁起就开始参加竞技舞蹈，并于2013年出现在美国达人秀第8 季中[13][14]，并于2016年入围So You Think You Can Dance: The Next Generation前10名[15]。

Megan从小就接受专业舞蹈训练[16]，Lara艺名Lara Raj，从小就开始表演和唱歌，并于2018年出演了米歇尔·奥巴马的全球女孩联盟的竞选视频[17][18]。

2023年：组合成立

11月18日，选秀节目企划《Dream Academy》的最终决赛透过线上直播，六人女子组合KATSEYE正式成立，并将于2024年出道[19][20]，Lara从小就开始表演和唱歌，并于2018年出演了米歇尔·奥巴马 的全球女孩联盟的竞选视频[21][18]。 Manon在TikTok和Instagram上发布短视频内容而走红，从2021年开始她在这些平台上发布了时尚和生活方式短片[22]，她也曾在瑞士从事模特儿工作[23]。

Yoonchae是该组合最年轻且唯一的韩国成员，她在通过试镜后于2020年加入了Hybe，在加入梦想学院阵容之前，她曾是一名K-pop练习生[23]。

2024年：出道

6月14日，宣布将于6月28日发行单曲出道，并于7月与8月分别发行第2首单曲和迷你专辑。Netflix音乐纪录片《韩团星学院：KATSEYE》也预计于8月21日上架[24][25]。

6月28日，专辑发行前已发行两首单曲。首支单曲《Debut》于6月28日发行，音乐视频在哥伦比亚麦德林拍摄，由格雷戈里·奥雷尔执导[26][27]。

7月26日，发行第二张单曲《Touch》[28]， 这首Liquid funk旋律鼓和Contemporary R&B曲目探讨了爱的复杂性，与《Debut》的声音有所不同强调了成员的声乐[29][30]，该单曲在《Billboard》Bubbling Under Hot 100 排行榜上排名第22位，并进入了《Billboard Philippines》Hot 100 排行榜[31]。

8月16日，发行首张迷你专辑《SIS (Soft Is Strong)》[32]。

9月17日，《Touch》的舞蹈编排在视频分享平台 TikTok上作为舞蹈挑战走红，之后获得了进一步的成功[33][34]。

2025年

4月30日，Katseye发行了新单曲Gnarly[35]，Gnarly成为乐团首支韩民乐团登上Hot 100的歌曲，这首歌是他们第二张迷你专辑中的首支单曲。

6月6日，Katseye发布了由说唱歌手 Ice Spice演唱的《Gnarly》混音版[36]。
