I love being part of the extended Wikimedia family, and I eagerly participate in international events whenever possible, hoping to bring back new knowledge and insights about how Wikimedia operates.

My work
My first contribution to Wikipedia happened on April 6th, 2006 (an enthusiastic article about a Hygrometer). Since then, one of my main missions has been to improve the technical side of the Slovenian Wikipedia, especially by making it shake hands with Wikidata. I sometimes look for technical solutions outside our local community to ensure that our small Wikipedia stay up to date. Because our community is small and our supply of technical wizards is even smaller, I often go on digital expeditions outside our borders. To fill the occasional technical void, I create templates and modules, write user help pages, guidelines, and policies. I enjoy rescuing fellow editors when they get stuck. And whenever possible, I participate in international events to learn new tricks and steal good ideas.
Most of all, I believe that even a small community can do big things.
