Intel Xe，中文名英特爾銳炬 Xe（格式化為Xe，兩個字母分開發音[1]），早期曾被非正式地稱為Gen12[2][3]，是由英特爾開發的獨立顯示卡（dGPU）架構。
Intel Xe包括整合/低功耗 (Xe-LP)[4] 、高效能遊戲 (Xe-HPG)、資料中心/高效能 (Xe-HP) 和高效能計算 (Xe-HPC) 等在內的許多指令集架構。[5][6]Intel Xe與Tiger Lake產品一起推出。[7]
歷史
[編輯]Intel Xe不是英特爾首次嘗試研發獨立顯示卡，早在1998年2月，英特爾就發布了獨立顯示卡Intel 740 [8]。發布時被炒得沸沸揚揚的Intel740是一個令人失望和失敗的產品，Intel740發布後僅18個月就被停產，但其技術卻被保留在英特爾至尊圖形（Intel Extreme Graphics）產品線中繼續使用[9]。
2018年4月，有報道稱，英特爾正在組建一個團隊開發針對資料中心和PC遊戲市場的獨立圖形處理器，意圖與Nvidia和AMD的產品展開競爭[10]。
2018年6月，英特爾確認計劃在2020年推出一款獨立的GPU[11]。
2019年9月，HotHardware報道稱，Intel Xe的GPU指令集體系結構 （ISA）出現較大變化，與之前的產品相比，幾乎所有指令編碼均有改變[12]。
2022年3月30日，英特爾正式公布了第一代基於Intel Xe-HPG架構的ARC（銳炫）獨立顯示卡。2024年12月13日，英特爾推出Intel Xe 2 BattleMage架構的獨立顯示卡。[13]
