I lead the Product Safety and Integrity team. We create tools and conducts research that promotes the safety of users, and oversee the security and privacy foundation of the wikis.

I joined WMF in May 2025, and live in Washington, DC. Like Wikipedia, I came of age in the early days and simpler times of the open web and open source. I try to carry that spirit with me even as the days get less early and the times less simple.
