I am a filemover on Wikimedia Commons an my work on the chinese language version of Wikipedia is mostly limited to replacing image filenames that have been renamed on Commons. The changes normaly made with a script that uses my Username. Unfortunately it doesn't work for me because of the Captcha. So I replace filesnames without this script manually. Is it somehow possible to remove the captcha input from me, or do I just need more edits to make it go away? Best regards from Switzerland.--Ziv（留言） 2025年1月12日 (日) 18:17 (UTC)

May I ask you again for a big favor?

I also replace old jpg/png/jpg files with svg vector files manually, sometimes i have to do this on userpages. This are normaly such icons, flags and other things (examples see at c:User:Achim55/SVG replacements). Would it be possible for you to give me extended rights so that I don't get warnings when I try to edit user pages? Someone who has over 33,000 edits globally is surely trustworthy, don't you think? Hello! I want to edit the article for 杀马特 / 殺馬特 to replace the current image with File:Smart_kids-011.jpg. Please make the description "Example of Shamate fashion" in Chinese.

Hi, @QuickQuokka. The description in Chinese would be "殺馬特風格的範例", you can edit the article on your own.

For the question you asked, if you mean the 7 dialect groups of Chinese languages, they are considered different individual or multiple ISO 639-3 languages, sus they will have their own language projects. See also Wikipedia:漢語族維基百科.

@Cookai1205： Thank you so much for your help! But what is the dropdown there labelled "繁體" with 6 different options then? I'm assuming zh-cn is Mainland China, zh-hk is Hong Kong, I don't know what zh-mo (Macau?) and zh-my are, and zh-sg and zh-tw are probably Singaporean and Taiwanese Chinese respectively. @QuickQuokka：mo is Macau and my is Malaysia. We use two writing systems for standard Chinese, traditional and simplified Han characters, and we use mw:LanguageConverter to convert between them. On top of that, translations for technical terms and foreign names differ greatly between the regions using Chinese so we use LC to convert regional terms as well. ——魔琴［身份声明留言贡献 PJ:NEW23］ 2025年1月26日 (日) 13:19 (UTC)

I guess I misunderstand what you mean by dialect.

Hi there,

I was told that you have bots on the Chinese Wikipedia that handle awards automatically. Like verifying how many edits a person has made, etc. Can someone give me an overview of how those work? Depending on how complex it is, I may add something similar to the English Wikipedia.

Would someone please mind adding all the following flags to 鹽湖城市旗, the city in question having multiple flags? I am unaware of the Chinese translation of their names, but the English-language names are:

Sego Flag
Sego Celebration Flag

Sego Celebration Flag
Sego Belonging Flag
Sego Visibility Flag

This is so I can move it from wikidata:Q5456820 to wikidata:Q135274127

Some English-language sources are available on the English Wikipedia page, with the one for these flags being [1], if needed.
