Pharmacia是一家位於瑞典的生物技術製藥公司，1911年在斯德哥爾摩成立，1951年搬至烏普薩拉，1959年推出產品塞法戴克斯（Sephadex）[1][2]，1993年收購意大利Farmitalia公司[3]，1995年與美國Upjohn公司合併，重組為Pharmacia & Upjohn[4][5]。1998年，原Pharmacia公司的業務拆分為兩部分：Pharmacia Biotech和Pharmacia Diagnostics，製藥業務保留在Pharmacia & Upjohn內，色譜柱填料、蛋白純化設備等科學儀器相關業務出售給英國製藥公司Amersham plc。
