鋅指結構E-box-結合同源框1（Zinc finger E-box-binding homeobox 1）是一個由人類基因ZEB1編碼的蛋白質^[5]^[6]^[7]。

ZEB1（以前稱為TCF8）編碼一種帶有鋅指結構域和同源框結構域的轉錄因子，結合位點為白血球介素-2基因轉錄起始位點上游100個bp處，通過負調控來抑制白介2的表現。^[8]。ZEB1和其哺乳動物中的旁系同源蛋白ZEB2都屬於同源框轉錄因子家族中的鋅指結構家族中的Zeb家族。ZEB1蛋白質有7個鋅指結構和1個同源框結構^[9]，見右側圖。

臨床意義

基因突變對基因與後多形角膜營養最近的一項研究建議其作出貢獻的作用，在肺癌的侵襲和轉移的發展。^[10]
